Morning                      - Drive through Hai Van pass (3-4 hours) to Danang 

                                    - Ba Na Hills at Danang (+ lunch)

                                                 {We regretted not having more time at Ba Na Hills. Try to spend a full day there.}

                                    - Drive to hotel in Hoi An

The day                       - Halloween

                                                 {We wanted to see what was happening for Halloween, and asked around during the day. In the end we went to the old town the evening, and saw many Halloween-themed places.}

                                    - Beach?

                                                 {We used the homestay's complimentary bicycles and cycled through the rice paddies to the beach.}

                                    - Evening markets in old town

During the previous days we spoke to the homestay's owner and she organized a trip for us to the My Son ruins early in the morning on our last day in Hoi An. The initial itinerary did not include this trip!

* The hotel we stayed at was not very good (nor recommended), so the name is not mentioned.

* The price indicated is for the whole duration of stay. On the evening of 29 Oct that was one night, whereas on 30 Oct, that was the price for all three nights at CoCo Riverside Homestay.
